Bio: Dr. Smith is a native of Macon, Georgia and joined Centennial Pediatrics in the summer of 2007. His interest in becoming a doctor was sparked by his own childhood pediatrician. He graduated from Samford University with a bachelor's degree in biology. He received his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine and completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Chattanooga. Dr. Smith is board certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Smith and his wife Dawn met while attending Samford University. They have been blessed with two children, Madeline and Caleb. The Smith's also have a Boykin spaniel, Piper. Dr. Smith's hobbies include watching football, bike riding, reading about cars, and spending time with his family.
