| Bio: | Dr. Bahner is a native of Birmingham, Alabama. Educated in parochial and public schools, he then moved to Nashville to attend College and Medical School at Fisk University and Meharry Medical College. Dr. Bahner married his wife, Joan Adams, of Winston-Salem North Carolina, during the latter half medical school. Dr. Bahner and his wife share four children and two grandchildren.
After medical school, he completed his internship and residency training in Pediatrics at Hubbard Hospital, which is affiliated with Meharry Medical College. Between his internship and residency training, Dr. Bahner spent a two-year military billet with the U.S. Navy assigned to the 2nd Marine Division of the U.S. Marine Corp, at Camp LeJune, North Carolina. Dr. Bahner enjoys music, sports, active and spectator events, board games, card games, and trivia. |
