| Bio: | Dr. Albers is one of only a few board certified Pediatric Dermatologists in Middle Tennessee. Dr. Albers graduated from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Florida. She completed an internship in internal medicine at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina and later her dermatology residency at the University of South Florida. She then entered the private practice of dermatology in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1993. She completed her pediatric dermatology fellowship at the Toronto Hospital for Sick Children in 1998. From 1998 to 2001 she was Assistant Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Massachusetts. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Meharry Medical College and Staff Physician at Metropolitan Nashville General Hospital. Dr. Albers is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Women's Dermatologic Society, the Society for Pediatric Dermatology, the Tennessee Dermatological Society, Nashville Dermatology Society and the International Society of Pediatric Dermatology. |
